localStorage allows Hoory to store and access data right in the User's browser with no expiration date.

sessionStorage

sessionStorage allows Hoory to store and access data right in the User's browser. Data in sessionStorage is deleted automatically when the session ends (in other words, when the browser tab is closed).

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13

Users declare themselves to be adult according to their applicable legislation. Minors may use Hoory only with the assistance of a parent or guardian. Under no circumstance persons under the age of 13 may use Hoory.

Unique device identification

Hoory may track Users by storing a unique identifier of their device, for analytics purposes or for storing Users' preferences.

“Do Not Track”

Because there is no legal or industry consensus yet on how “Do Not Track” signals should be recognized or honored, Hoory does not support “Do Not Track” requests at this time. Include your full name, the email address associated with your Hoory account, and a description of the data you want deleted.
We will verify your identity and acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
Upon verification, we will delete your Personal Data from our active databases within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Certain data may be retained where required by law (e.g., tax or accounting records) or to protect our legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention). In such cases, we will inform you of the specific data retained and the legal basis for retention.

Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

If you used Facebook Login to access Hoory, the following data may have been collected from your Facebook account: name, email address, profile picture, and device information.

To request deletion of data obtained via Facebook/Meta:

Send an email to hello@hoory.com with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion Request", including the email address linked to your Facebook account.
We will delete all Facebook-sourced Personal Data from our systems within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

You may also revoke Hoory's access to your Facebook data at any time by visiting your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, selecting Hoory, and clicking "Remove".
